Storyline Ayaal Sassi

Sassi, a self-proclaimed painter in his 60s, tries to make a mark in the society but fails with every attempt. He is soon diagnosed with a terminal illness, following which he moves back to his hometown to spend his last few days. His days turn rather boring and uninteresting until he learns of a newly designed coffin, having all sorts of advanced features in it, and finally, knows how to spend his last days.

Sassi, an artist, manifests the best and worst of such people trying to move center stage from the margins of society.

The film revolves around the life of a sexagenarian named Sassi Namboothiri. He is a carefree person with no family baggage. He has a gang of friends for whom he conducts partys in his home every weekend. He is known to the people as an artist.
